Whenever you go to a tribute show you never quite know what to expect. You tend to be a bit skeptical but hopeful that the players will do the honored guest justice. Well, that's exactly what happened at the Randy Rhoads Tribute last week in Santa Ana, CA during NAMM. A special night of guitar heroes (names below) paying tribute to one of the most influential players of all time Randy Rhoads. It was such an honor to snag interviews (listen below) with Testament's Alex Skolnick and Brent Woods, who was taught by Randy himself, and hear them talk about Randy's influence on their notable careers. Also, one of the show's producers, Joe Sutton, worked right here at Rock 103 back in the day and even mentioned on-stage seeing Randy play in Memphis! Very special night! Randy lives on!
