Nude beach ruled by the Crested Lark

The Crested Lark won't leave the nudists alone at beach.

Some birds just don’t want to watch you get down in the dunes. So much that they’re the reason a group of Belgian nudists may not get the nude beach they’ve been asking for. Why? Environmentalists are protesting the effort over a rare local bird - the crested lark. It seems that some nude bathers’ frisky antics are scaring them off.

The Belgian Naturalism Federation already has one nude beach to enjoy, but it became so popular that now they’re asking for another one. They even already had a spot picked out perfect for lounging around in their birthday suits, a quiet spot in a coastal town of Westende.

On the opposing side, the Flemish Agency for Nature and Woodlands say they're fighting for the the spooked birds… and also for the sake of the dunes (and they're disturbed by the getting down).
