Elon Musk has a new high-profile problem. Yesterday, rumors of “Tonight Show” host Jimmy Fallon’s demise surfaced on Twitter. “#RIPJimmyFallon” gave birth to stories of the 48-year old entertainer’s untimely death.

Fallon, of course, is alive and well and has asked new owner of the social media platform Musk to take action against the unfounded gossip. “Elon, can you fix this,” Fallon tweeted. Musk later replied, “Fix what?” And no, he wasn't done - adding, "Sounds like a job for @CommunityNotes!" But then noting, "Wait a second, how do we know you’re not an alien body snatcher pretending to be Jimmy!? Say something that only the real Jimmy would say …"

Musk has promised a new era of Twitter, including making the statement “comedy is now legal on Twitter.” But his transition has not gone smoothly, as he has faced criticism for his harsh response to celebrities who have made him the target of said-comedy. Twitter has recently seen celebrities such as Gigi HadadSara Bareilles, and superstar producer Shonda Rhimes delete their accounts.
